Ridgefield, located in Fairfield County on the border of New York’s Westchester County, is a lovely scenic drive from points South and West via I684, I84 and Route 7. If coming either North or South from the East, we are located close to the Merritt Parkway and the I95 corridor.

Metro North trains arrive in Branchville, where you’ll be delighted with an array of eclectic shops, restaurants, and services.
Enter Ridgefield through our Gateway, the comfortably wide Route 7, where many of Ridgefield’s car dealerships and businesses are located.
Several options are available for parking while shopping and dining in the Main Street area.
Visitors will find street parking and municipal lots, located throughout the area, with posted time limits for weekday parking. There are no restrictions during the weekend. (Note: Vehicles will be monitored and tickets given if posted limits are exceeded during weekday parking)

Getting Here by Train – Metro North, New Haven Line
Metro North trains run regularly into Katonah, New York, where taxi service is available for the half-hour drive to Ridgefield.

While there are other train stations somewhat closer to Ridgefield, no taxi service is available into the Main Street area from those stations.
The nearest train station is the Branchville station off Route 7, about five minutes down Branchville Road from the center of Ridgefield. It is 54 miles to Grand Central Terminal. New York City commuters find the Katonah station convenient and the train ride shorter, although parking is limited.
- Permits for parking at Katonah are handled by the Town of Bedford Parking Bureau (914-666-8097). Goldens Bridge and Southeast are handled by LAZ Parking (888-682-PARK).
- Katonah commuters may take a shuttle from Ridgefield during the workweek; however passes are purchased on a monthly basis. Information is available at mta.info.
Goldens Bridge, one stop north of Katonah, is another frequently used station for Ridgefielders. Northern Ridgefielders might use the Southeast station in Brewster, N.Y.

- Danbury airport is a short 10 minute ride from Ridgefield and caters to small rentals and privately owned planes.
- Westchester County Airport is approximately 27 miles from downtown Ridgefield via I 684.
